Gulf War Veteran and Family Health Study

Welcome to our website! We are thrilled to share that our team is hard at work, actively securing essential approvals and eagerly anticipating to share this study with you all in early 2024. Please stay tuned for additional information and updates that will be posted soon!

We plan to invite Gulf War veterans and their children 18 years old and older to take part in the Longitudinal Effects of The Gulf War: Veteran Reproductive and Children’s Health Survey Study.

This study seeks to address unanswered questions about the impact of Gulf War Illness and service on the health of Gulf War veterans and their families. This study focuses on reproductive, birth, and children’s health outcomes.

We’re currently looking for Gulf War veterans deployed to the Persian Gulf region any time between August 1990 and July 1991 who are healthy and those with health problems, whether or not they have children or their children have health problems.

We also plan to recruit veterans’ children aged 18 years old and older to investigate the potential intergenerational effects of Gulf War exposures and Gulf War Illness.

If you are interested in participating, please call us at (617) 358-1345 or email gwrepro@bu.edu!
