The New Normal
It is interesting to see the culture here in Zanzibar 
and how greatly it differs from Boston. Throughout our adventures, here are some of the things we have gotten used to seeing and doing on a daily basis:
- A herd of unsupervised cows walking toward us on the road and hanging out with us on the beach.…
- Enjoying the company of at least one gecko in our bedrooms, because we know they will keep the mosquitoes away.
- Running to bathroom just to take a sip of water because of Ramadan.
- Wearing pants no matter how hot it gets.
- Eating seaweed.
- Going to the bathroom on a seat-less toilet
