We focus on marginalized and at-risk communities/populations including – Immigrants; Informal Sector Workers; Internally Displaced Persons (IDP); Persons Living With HIV/AIDS [PLWHA]; Persons with Mental Health Challenges; Pregnant Women; Mothers and their Newborn Children; & Refugees. This focus is informed by the need to improve population health by using healthcare systems to bridge different communities.
To achieve its aim, the Global Health Systems R.I.S.E lab primarily conducts research in the following three [3] areas:
