Lewis Abedi Asante is a Senior Lecturer in Housing and Urban Development in the Department of Estate Management at Kumasi Technical University, Ghana. He holds a PhD in Geography from the Humboldt-Universitat zu Berlin and a MSc in Urbanisation and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science. His research interests include urban regeneration, market redevelopment, urban governance, housing, and gentrification. He has been a co- investigator on research projects funded by the German Research Foundation, Cambridge Africa, and UK Research and Innovation.
