Opening Reception

Please join us for a reception to launch the historical exhibition “Final Sale: The End of Jewish Businesses in Nazi Berlin” and a month’s worth of conversation about the legacy of economic racism in the US and Germany.

Michael Zank, Director of Elie Wiesel Center for Judaic Studies and Professor of Religion at BU, offered a few welcoming words. Jonathan Zatlin, Associate Director of the Kilachand Honors College and Associate Professor of History, gave brief comments on Berlin under the Nazis and the innovative research informing the exhibition, after which guests were invited to enjoy refreshments and view the exhibition.
