Ximena Garcia is a psychology student at Boston University and an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the Nuestros Niños program at the Institute of Early Childhood Well-Being, where she supports research on bilingual education. A first-generation, low-income student and fluent Spanish-speaker, Ximena is passionate about advocating for underrepresented students. She is also a Jumpstart AmeriCorps member and will serve as Director of the Cambridge Youth Enrichment Program (CYEP) in Summer 2025. Ximena has led efforts to create identity-specific resources for Latine students at BU through her work with the Latine Student Task Force under IMPACT.
