Sol Melina Taranto Paz is a second-year undergraduate Public Health major with a Global Health minor at
Northeastern University. Her interests include international health policy, women’s and children’s health,
and environmental health. As a first-year, she worked as a teacher assistant at Russell J. Call Children’s
Center. Last summer she participated in a study abroad in Kenya where she conducted a research project
on the effectiveness of pregnancy insurance across Kenya. In the spring she will be employed at her first
co-op as a Data Analysis Assistant for the City of Somerville.
