Megina Baker, Ph.D. is Director of Teaching and Learning at Neighborhood Villages, a systems-change non-profit working to create and advocate for excellent early childhood systems. Megina has extensive experience as an early childhood teacher and teacher educator. She is also a research collaborator at Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Project Zero, where she works on the Pedagogy of Play research project to understand and promote playful learning in schools. She is a co-author of the Focus curriculum, used in the Boston Public Schools’ early childhood programs and in many other schools beyond Boston.
