Jelonid M. Fuentes is completing her Master’s in Educational Policy Studies in the Wheelock College of Education and Human Development at Boston University. She completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (K-12) at the University of Puerto Rico – Rio Piedras Campus. Jelonid Fuentes has completed work with the UNESCO Chair for Peace Education in the University of Puerto Rico, she has worked as an Associate Teacher at Bright Horizons, and worked with non-profit Parceleras Afrocaribeñas in an audiovisual project for La Conde. Jelonid’s interests include teacher quality and multilingual education policy. Currently, she is the Program Coordinator for the Institute of Early Childhood Wellbeing and a serves as a Data Collection Coordinator in her role as a Nuestros Niños Graduate Research Assistant.
