Nuestros Niños Program

This federally funded project will provide professional development to four cohorts of teachers and assistant teachers in schools districts in Massachusetts and Colorado. The main project goals are (1) to increase teachers’ capacity to implement evidence-based practices to effectively promote young bilingual children’s language and literacy abilities; (2) increase school districts’
capacity to support teachers of young bilingual children by providing PD to coaches; and (3) strengthen home-school partnerships by supporting families on promoting their young bilingual children’s language and literacy at home.
