Institute Welcomes New Faculty Governing Board Members
With the Fall semester underway, the BU Institute for Early Childhood Well-Being would like to formally welcome new Faculty Governing Board members Lindsey Locks, MPH, ScD, and Erika (Gaby) Cordova Ramos, MD.
Dr. Lindsey Locks, ScD MPH is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Health Sciences (Sargent College) and Global Health (School of Public Health). She is a global health nutritional epidemiologist whose research focuses on infant feeding, growth and malnutrition in low-resource settings.
Dr. Cordova Ramos is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at BUSM, a clinical neonatologist at BMC, and an implementation science researcher. She investigates racial/ethnic and linguistic disparities in neonatal-perinatal delivery of care. Her focus is on adaptation and implementation of evidence-based interventions to reduce disparities.
We are thrilled to have the expertise of Dr. Locks and Dr. Cordova Ramos as we continue to explore interdisciplinary approaches to promote the well-being of young children and their families.
