Brain Stimulation Equipment up and running
Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a safe and non-invasive tool to measure brain activity. We will use TMS to study how pathways in the brain are preserved or affected in children who experience brain injury. Dr. Ferre recieves NINDS K01 award to track infants at-risk for developing CP
This project will track motor and sensory function in relation to brain development in infants at-risk of developing CP and typically developing infants.
September 23 – 25: American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine Conference
Dr. Ferre will present results of a collaborative study performed in the lab of Dr. Kathleen Friel (Burke Neurological Institute). He will also co-lead a Lunch and Learn seminar on Progress in Brain Imaging for CP Research which will emphasize collaborative approaches and open and reproducible science.
