2025 UROP Symposium!

✨ The 28th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium✨
Our undergraduate research assistant, Paulina Villanueva Salcedo, presented her summer UROP project at the annual symposium today. During the summer she investigated bilingual children’s novel word learning through different bilingual storybooks. 📚 Her preliminary findings suggest, while not statistically significant, children may learn words better from code-switched story books where languages are interweaved into one story. 🗣️🧠
