2025 NIDCD T32 Research Day

We were honored to welcome Dr. Elizabeth Norton as the keynote speaker for the 2025 NIDCD T32 Research Day at Boston University!

Dr. Norton is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Northwestern University, where she directs the Language, Education and Reading Neuroscience (LEARN) Lab.

Her research investigates the brain and behavioral foundations of language and reading development, with a special focus on the early identification of developmental disorders such as dyslexia, developmental language disorder, and autism.
Widely recognized for her interdisciplinary approach bridging neuroscience, education, and clinical application, Dr. Norton’s work has been supported by NIH and other major agencies. Importantly, her research exemplifies the translational focus of our T32 program, connecting basic science to clinical and educational outcomes.

We are grateful to Dr. Norton for sharing her expertise and inspiring our community of scholars and clinicians.
