Center Faculty Host Congressional Staff Briefing
Drs. Gregory Wellenius and Amruta Nori-Sarma recently participated in a briefing on climate and health for congressional staff and others at Capitol Hill. They highlighted the growing contributions of climate change in current events, its impact on human health, and the efforts underway to address this complex problem, such as the launch of the new BUSPH-HSPH CAFE. The audience learned what lawmakers could do to enact policies that will provide support to the most vulnerable communities as extreme weather intensifies and ensure more equitable health outcomes for all.
