My research interests lie in distributed systems and databases. I joined BU in 2020, initially as a research scientist at the Hariri Institute for Computing and then as an assistant professor at the CS Department. Before that, I was a visiting scholar at the RISELab, UC Berkeley, a senior researcher (oberassistent) at the Systems Group, ETH Zurich, a visiting research fellow at HKU, and a research assistant at the Information Systems Management Institute (IMSI) of the “Athena” Research Center, Greece. I obtained a 5-year diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2008, and a PhD in 2015, both from NTUA.
