Looking at health symptoms in the Ft. Devens Cohort over time since deployment, this study found high endorsement of crying easily and muscle twitching in those exposed to tent heaters. The findings of this study contribute to the existing body of research, affirming association of exposure to tent heaters with increased reporting of cardiac, neurological, and pulmonary symptoms, as well as chronic multisymptom illness (CMI), involving fatigue, cognitive/mood, and musculoskeletal symptoms.
