Health Economics and Epidemiology Research Office (HE²RO) (South Africa)

HE²RO is a division of the Wits Health Consortium of the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. Its purpose is to conduct applied, policy- and program-relevant research and evaluation on issues of public health importance in South Africa. HE²RO was established in 2004 as a collaboration between Wits University and Boston University. It focuses on understanding the economic and epidemiological consequences of the HIV and TB epidemics and the effectiveness, benefits, and costs of interventions. Visit HE2RO at www.heroza.org

Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) (Zambia and Malawi)

CHAI is an international nongovernmental organization with offices around the world, including Lusaka, Zambia and Lilongwe, Malawi.  CHAI-Zambia and CHAI-Malawi are collaborating with Boston University and HE2RO to implement AMBIT activities in these two focus countries.  Visit CHAI at https://clintonhealthaccess.org/.
