Further away, but also accessible are airports in Manchester, New Hampshire and Providence, Rhode Island.
One option is to take the subway. In the airport, make your way to the ground transport section and board an Airport Shuttle to Airport Station. At Airport Station, you will be able to purchase a ticket for the subway. Fare is $2. You will need to take the Blue Line inbound to Government Center. At Government Center, you will need to switch lines and take a Green “B” Line to Boston University Central.
If you are taking the train to get to Boston, you will arrive at Boston’s South Station, which is a short taxi ride to campus. You can also take the subway. At South Station, board the Red Line and get off at Park Street. From Park Street, hop on to the Green “B” Line to Boston University Central.
Guests who will be driving to the conference are welcome to use Boston University Parking while they are on campus. Those guests who will be taking Boston public transportation should take the Green B line to Boston University Central for all events held in the Photonics Center. The Photonics Center is located on St. Mary’s Street, just a 30 second walk from the train stop.
