Why Women’s Health?

Women and their health concerns are under-studied in general, yet female-specific body structures are responsible for every human life on earth. With women’s rights increasingly imperiled both in the US and world-wide, it is enormously important that scientists insist on focusing on work aimed at understanding and fostering women’s health. Women’s health is fundamentally crucial to nothing less than the survival of the human species.
