Andrey Fradkin is a TPRI Faculty Fellow and an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. He is also a Digital Fellow at the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy and holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University.
Professor Fradkin studies the design of digital platforms and the effects of digital platforms on the economy. He is also interested in understanding search behavior in consumer and labor markets. To study these issues, Professor Fradkin has worked with several companies including Airbnb, Rover, and Meta.
His research has been published in both economics journals (American Economic Review, The Review of Economics and Statistics) and computer science conferences (ACM-EC). He has also provided expert input about the digital economy at the President’s Council on Science and Technology and the Federal Trade Commission.
