Soli Deo Gloria

Baroque composer Johann Sebastian Bach wrote the initials “S. D. G.” (meaning glory to God alone) at the end of all of his sacred compositions. In this photo, a carving of Bach seems to watch over the Marsh Chapel Choir and Collegium as they rehearse his sacred cantata, “Erfreut euch, ihr Herzen”.
