Welcome to the SULa Lab

The SULa Lab investigates the linguistic Structures of Under-researched Langauges. The lab is comprised of Boston University faculty and students with expertise in the phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, typology, documentation, description, and revitalization of lesser-known languages.

Resources of the lab include a lab space within the Linguistics Department at Boston University, technological equipment for data collection, analysis, management, and storage, and virtual resources for training in linguistic fieldwork and research.
