Ran Jing is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Boston University, and is a graduate student researcher in the Soft Robotics Control Lab. He received an M.S. in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2021, and a B.S. in Control Science and Engineering from Shandong University in 2019. Ran’s research develops simulations, models, and feedback controllers for soft robot locomotion.
