Akua Dickson

Akua Dickson is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Division of Systems Engineering at Boston University, and is a graduate student researcher in the Soft Robotics Control Lab. She received a B.S.E.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in 2021. Akua’s research develops safety-critical feedback control systems for soft robots, focusing on pneumatic systems, including planning with contact.
