Tara Jenson
Tara is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Epidemiology at Boston University School of Public Health. Tara’s research uses epidemiologic methods to better understand how environmental exposures, including harmful heavy metals and air pollution, as well as beneficial greenness, may influence cognitive decline and the development of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias later in life. Before joining BU, Tara completed her doctoral training in Environmental Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and earned an MPH from George Washington University. Beyond research, Tara enjoys hiking with her dogs, biking around Minneapolis-St. Paul in all seasons, and keeping a backyard flock of chickens!
