New Grant
Congratulations to Marcia Pescador Jimenez on receiving a new NIH R13
conference grant! Alzheimer’s Prevention in Women through Analysis of
Key Exposome Domains (AWAKE) will examine how social, physical, and
policy environments across the life course shape women’s risk of
Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD).
New Grant
Congratulations to Jeroen van Baar on receiving a K99/R00 award from
the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH)! His project, “Using
experimental and quasi-experimental designs to assess effects of
insurance and eviction ban coverage on mental health and
neurodevelopment,” brings together neuroscience, epidemiology, and
causal inference to investigate how social safety-net coverage and
uncertainty may shape mental health and neurodevelopment.
