Postdoctoral Associate in Epidemiology

We are recruiting a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Epidemiology at Boston University School of Public Health, under the mentorship of Dr. Marcia Pescador Jimenez.

This position will contribute to NIH-funded research examining how multiple environmental exposures, including green space, air pollution, ambient temperature, noise, walkability, neighborhood amenities, access to transit, and neighborhood socio-economic status, shape risk factors related to Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

The fellow will work in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment with opportunities to analyze longitudinal epidemiologic data, contribute to manuscripts and conference presentations, support project operations, and further develop expertise in causal inference methods, environmental epidemiology, aging, and cognitive health. Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent degree in epidemiology or a related field, strong R skills, and experience in longitudinal data analysis and causal methods.
