Program Roadmap Timeline
With a project of this size, keeping track of major milestones can be challenging. That’s where our Program Roadmap Timeline comes in! This roadmap easy illustrates our program’s timeline and highlights changes and updates for students, staff, and faculty.
Over the next two years, we will roll out changes and updates to our BU community:
Spring 2023
- Students will use a new, more user-friendly portal to access Student Link and other useful resources
- Information focusing on student personal pronouns, gender identity, and display names will be shared with Housing to support gender affirming housing processes
Fall 2023
- Staff will process new student applications and financial aid in the new Student Information System (SIS)
Spring 2024
- Students will be able to change personal pronouns, gender identity and display name in the student system
- Students will register for Fall 2024 classes in the new SIS and see increased functionality in the new Student Link
- Staff will manage orientation in the new SIS
Summer 2024
- Students will begin to pay bill, apply for Student Employment, and manage their enrollment through the new SIS
- Faculty will use the new SIS to grade and advise
