Hi! My name is James Thompson and I’m excited to be your 1L Section A Rep! I’m originally from Charlotte, North Carolina and I studied political science and global studies at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for undergrad. After graduating, I worked in Washington, DC as a paralegal before coming to BU for law school!
Outside of school, I love traveling, trying new restaurants, running, going to concerts, and all things Taylor Swift.
I joined SGA because I participated in student government as an undergrad and really enjoyed being able to engage the student body on a larger scale and voicing their concerns that might have otherwise gone unsaid. I look forward to building on those experiences as a section rep and helping the SGA team have a successful year of events and programming!
