Job Eligibility
To be eligible to work on-campus and have access to the Student Job Service listings you must:
U.S. Citizens and Eligible Non-Citizens | International Students |
Be enrolled full- or part-time in a degree-seeking graduate or undergraduate program. | Be registered full-time and have authorization from the International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO). |
Our office maintains multiple job boards that are consistently updated. All job boards are accessible through the Student Link under the Work tab. Depending on your student status, certain types of jobs may or may not be available to you.
You may also find opportunities through word-of-mouth, or by looking at job listings posted on departmental websites.
Domestic Students
Domestic students may access and apply to any Part-Time (long-term part-time and summer jobs) or Quick Jobs (short-term employment). First year students and incoming students usually receive access to these listings starting in August, once they have paid their tuition and have registered for classes.
International Students
International students with work authorization from the International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO) may seek on campus positions through either the Part-Time (long-term part-time and summer jobs) or Quick Jobs (short-term employment).
You may work only on campus unless you have received specific off-campus employment authorization from ISSO.
Students in immigration statuses other than F-1 or J-1 may be authorized for full-time or off-campus employment under certain circumstances, but must consult with an advisor at ISSO before beginning work.
Work Study Recipients
In addition to the Part-Time Jobs and Quick Jobs available to domestic students, students who have received a work study award with their financial aid may also access and apply to jobs listed in the Work Study Job Directory.
