Talks: Jenya Zhilina
Jenya Zhilina, an art and architectural historian and author of publications on the history of architecture earned her M.A. in art history from the Ilya Repin State Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture (Academy of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg). Since 1996, she lives in Boston, USA. A member of the Society of Architectural Historians and the American Society of Archivists, she has served as an architectural archivist at leading architectural firms in Boston. Since 2004, she has been affiliated with the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
In her research and publications, she focuses on Henry Hobson Richardson’s legacy, the immigration to New England with an emphasis on the art of Russian Immigration, and the importance of museums in preserving history and heritage.
