Conversation with Yuri Pozin
Yuri Pozin was born and raised in Leningrad. Back in the Soviet Union, Yuri was working in the field of electrical engineering. He is an author of 100 patents and a large number of scholarly articles. From his youth he had a passion for outdoor adventure, and winter swimming was one of his passions.
Yuri was fortunate to meet some great Leningrad underground artists and collected their paintings, drawings and sketches, many of which were on display at art exhibitions.
He came to the US in 1998 and became very much interested in the archival research with Massachusetts Historical Society. He has been also volunteering as an ESL teacher at the Brookline Senior Center.
