Dr. Roh was honored to present at the University of Minnesota Department of Surgery Grand Rounds this month on translating aging biology and cellular senescence into surgical care.
He extends his thanks to Chair of Surgery Dr. Ikramuddin, Chief of Plastics Dr. Choudry, and Director of the Masonic Institute on the Biology of Aging and Metabolism Dr. Niedernhofer for a truly inspiring visit. They have already built remarkable synergy examining senescence across surgery.
There is significant opportunity to harness aging biology to improve surgical outcomes for older adults.
