Dr. Lisa Roberts is an interdisciplinary exercise physiologist who has studied aging as it relates to motor control, exercise, and cardiovascular disease. Currently her research interests are in perceptions, accessibility, and participation in exercise within marginalized communities and how to utilize that information to implement exercise as a cardio protective therapy. Dr. Roberts is also dedicated physiology instructor and is interested in how to increase student learning outcomes within the classroom. In her spare time, she takes her dogs for walks, enjoys shopping, and the occasional brewery.
