Evan Nessen, MS
Evan Nessen (he/him)
Evan Nessen previously completed his MS in Human Physiology as a graduate student in our lab. He has research experience in exercise physiology and cardiovascular pathophysiology. His thesis research investigated psychosocial factors and exercise perceptions and attitudes as they relates to blood pressure in LGBT populations. He subsequently worked full time Research Assistant in the Cardiology Research Core at Boston Medical Center. Now, Evan is conducting his PhD in the laboratory of Dr. Mandy Bunsawat at the University of Iowa. Outside of work, Evan enjoys lifting weights, spending time with friends and finding a good cup of coffee.
