Welcome! We are the BU Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences Queer Understanding, Equity & Educational Research (Q.U.E.E.R.) Lab. Our mission is to foster inclusion and diversity in STEM education and identify health inequities in medically marginalized communities. We approach these aims from both health-related and educational frameworks. Our PIs, Dr. Jesse Moreira-Bouchard and Dr. Lisa Roberts, are both researchers and teachers, and use the unique insight gained from practicing both methodologies to take a new aim at creating inclusion and equity for all.
