Health Policy and Law Track
The Health Policy and Law Track aims to engage with students passionate about health policy and law to improve health policy and law skills. We aim to do this by allow students to practice their policy writing and defending skills in a supportive environment through:
- Student presentations
- Participating in a mock policy problem
- Networking with students and public health professionals
Schedule Overview
Session #1 (11 AM – 12 PM): Health Policy and Law Student Presentations
Learn about the policy or law work our participants have done as a way of understanding the field better, while learning from their successes (and failures if they would like to share).
Session #2 (2 PM – 3 PM): Creating an equitable policy solution in a time-constraint.
Students break out into teams to create a policy solution and prepare oral arguments. Students will present their work to a panel of judges.
