Hi all! My name is Karen, and I am a second-year OTD student from Fairfax, Virginia. I love that OT is marked by diverse and holistic care, and I’m fascinated by the intersection of biological and behavioral health. I am particularly interested in physical dysfunction as well as developmental needs of pediatric populations, but I am still open to exploring all settings. Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time in nature, solving all kinds of puzzles, and trying new recipes in the kitchen. I have loved my experience with OT at Sargent College, and I would be happy to chat and help answer any questions about the program!
