Hi all! My name is Karen, and I am a first-year OTD student from Fairfax, Virginia. I was introduced to occupational therapy at a career fair in high school, and I was drawn by the field’s values of diverse and holistic healthcare. I also love the intersection of biological and behavioral health, especially with applications in neurorehabilitation, but I am excited to learn more about all OT settings.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time in nature, solving all kinds of puzzles, and trying new recipes in the kitchen. I have loved my experience with OT at Sargent College, and I would be happy to chat and help answer any questions about the program!
