Register for the New England Rural Health Leadership Institute!
The New England Rural Health Leadership Institute (RHLI) is designed to help aspiring leaders in public health and primary care strengthen their collaborative support of community health while expanding their own leadership skills. The program — which runs September – November 2024 — uses a community learning approach for networking and discussion with leaders and experts, and includes hands-on activities for skill building.
The RHLI is designed for entry to mid-management professionals in Region 1 (Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine). While there are no specific degree requirements, the following are highly desirable:
- At least two years experience working in a health- or public health-related field and/or education in a health/public health field;
- Lived experience living and/or working rurally
We welcome people working in health departments, community health centers, community-based organizations, and community clinics. People of color and other underrepresented groups and professionals supporting medically underserved populations are strongly encouraged to apply.
