Haley Wood

Haley Wood focused on evaluating the program Meals 4 Kids, which is a mobile food market that provides free and fresh foods to children in communities including the rural town of Rochester, NH. To assess the program and identify opportunities for improvement, Haley conducted interviews with the parents/guardians of children who participate in M4K. Haley found that overall, there has been a positive impact on families who shop at M4K. Many interviewees had no complaints; however, some provided suggestions for improvement which helped formulate the recommendations detailed in her report, such as the option for M4K to offer childcare on site. To keep families satisfied with their M4K experience, Haley concluded that M4K should continue to provide nutritious foods, choice of foods among shoppers and encourage volunteers to be friendly and welcoming toward parents and guardians.
