APHA Learning Institute on the Public Health Learning Agenda
Going to APHA online or in person? Interested in Using Learning to Impact Systems Change?
The Public Health Learning Agenda Toolkit aims to help public health organizations and their partners create a plan for learning to address and achieve systems change.
Each step in a Learning Agenda requires teams to think deeply about defining a community challenge and consider where and how to address the issue through learning. Taking concrete steps to tackle our toughest issues—like health care access and substance misuse—helps ground us in real action and offers empowerment after a year where most everything felt out of control.
You have an opportunity to learn more this October:
- Register for a half-day Learning Institute (#1006.0) to start building your own Learning Agenda. The Institute takes place virtually on Saturday, October 23, 2021 (9:00 AM - 12:30 PM Mountain). The fee for this session is $215 and 3 CE credits are available. You do not need to be registered for the American Public Health Association annual meeting to register for the Learning Institute.
- We’ll also be presenting about the Learning Agenda during a virtual session (#5000.0) on Wednesday, October 27 (9:00-9:15 AM Mountain), as part of the American Public Health Association 2021 Annual Meeting. OR
