DSLab Participates at INFORMS 2025

Four DSLab researchers, DSLab director John Maleyeff, and MET Professor Canan Gunes Corlu participated in the annual Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) conference in Atlanta, Georgia (October 26-28). The two posters submitted by DSLab researchers were chosen as finalists in the poster competition. They were Fangzhou Xie and Yangyuechen Zhao, whose poster concerned shared medical decision making, and Chenxi FengXinyue Zhang, and Xindi Liao, whose poster concerned sustainability of laboratory operations (Chenxi was unable to attend the conference). In addition, Yangyuechen Zhao made a presentation entitled “Real-Time Digital Twin Approach for Personalized Medical Decision Making” (Fangzhou Xie was her co-author).
The annual INFORMS conference brings together over 6000 faculty, graduate students, and practitioners from around the world to share and exchange ideas.  Our participation at the annual INFORMS 2024 international conference underscores our commitment to advancing decision sciences and operations research.  For more information about the DSLab and our research, please visit https://sites.bu.edu/met-dslab/.
