DSLab participates at the annual INFORMS international conference, including a poster finalist
Six current DSLab researchers and three DSLab alumni participated in the 2024 INFORMS (Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences) conference held in Seattle, Washington. DSLab researchers Kunsinee (Kelly) Srivichaiin, Yu (Yura) Gao, and Kaumudi (Anu) Dande presented a poster that was chosen as a finalist in the poster competition titled “DSS for Climate Mitigation Using Indifference Probabilities to Measure Impact Utilities.” Shuting (Tina) Peng, Po-Wei (Ben) Chang, and Boyu (MK) Wang presented a poster titled “BCFR: Incorporating Resilience into Better, Cheaper, Faster for Supply Chain Planning.” DSLab alumni Ruthairut (Ruth) Wootisarn and Xueying (Jocelyn) Wang presented a poster titled “Metamodel Initialization of a Search Algorithm for Repair Kit Application.” Xiaotong (Claire) Ding, another DSLab alumnus, also attended the conference.
The annual INFORMS conference (https://meetings.informs.org/wordpress/seattle2024/) brings together over 6000 faculty, graduate students, and practitioners from around the world to share and exchange ideas.
