Nutrition Obesity Research Club Inaugural Meeting

SAVE THE DATE!

One Saturday, October 27th, 2018, the Nutrition Obesity Research Club (NORC) will be holding its inaugural meeting  at the Boston University Photonics Center in the Colloquium Room, which is located at St. Mary’s Street in Boston, MA. The event is from 6-8pm and is supported by the BNORC, NORCH, BADERC, and the Joslin Diabetes Center.

Mission: To promote closer interactions and collaborations among nutrition and obesity researchers in Boston and throughout New England.

The club will have two major components:

• Research Presentations: Communication of new data with feedback from senior faculty.
• Datathon: Teams consisting of junior researchers, engineers, and data scientists will work together to analyze provided datasets related to nutrition and obesity research.
