Lab Manager or Postdoc

We currently do not have postdoc, research scientist, and/or lab manager roles available.


Prospective PhD Students

We currently do not have any open funded positions for new PhD students. However, this is constantly changing and future positions may open up. Prospective students must first apply to Boston University’s Department of Mechanical Engineering PhD Program or the Materials Science and Engineering PhD Program, and you can specify interest in working with Prof. Lubner in your application. Once you apply, you may then optionally email Raina Tung and CC Prof. Lubner with a brief statement on why you are interested in the lab and your academic and research background. Due to a high volume of emails, Prof. Lubner may not be able to respond to all inquiries. Please also feel free to reach out to current group members to chat, and who can relay information to Prof. Lubner.


Admitted Graduate (PhD & MS) Students

We currently do not have any open funded positions for new PhD students. However, this is constantly changing and future positions may open up. If you are interested in our group, please email Raina Tung and CC Prof. Lubner with your CV and a brief statement on why you are interested in our group and research. Please start your email subject line with “ADMITTED – ” to avoid it getting lost amidst other emails.


Undergraduate Students

We currently do not have openings to take on new undergraduate researchers. However, this is constantly changing and positions can open up at any time. If you are interested in performing research with our group, please reach out to current group members working on areas you’re interested in asking if they have time to chat. You may also additionally email Raina Tung and CC Prof. Lubner, however due to a high volume of emails, Prof. Lubner may not be able to respond to all inquiries.
