LAVA Lab member, Julie Behar, featured in BU Today

LAVA Lab member, Julie Behar, was featured in BU Today along with ASL Instructor, Bruce Bucci. Julie has sought out the guidance of Mr. Bucci to become an ally to the Deaf community while pursuing an undergraduate major in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and a minor in Deaf Studies. Behar believes this valuable insight will help her promote language access, signed or spoken, as she embarks on her graduate study in Audiology and pursues her career goal of becoming an audiologist.
