Brittany Farr and April Bottoms present at GPS workshop
Graduate research assistants, Brittany Farr and April Bottoms, led a presentation to Early Intervention Service Providers attending the Guide to Providing Services (GPS) workshop at The Learning Center for the Deaf in Framingham, Massachusetts on Monday, November 6th, 2017. Their presentation, “Supporting the Development of Visual Attention in Young Deaf Children”, provided research findings about how Deaf children manage their visual attention while learning ASL and how parents, educators and early intervention can support optimal learning environments for Deaf children.
