Workshop Application

Are you a scholar, activist, artist, or student who is part of a progressive and/or Jewish initiative? We invite you to share your proposals to lead a 75-minute workshop for 50-100 participants and help shape this important gathering. We expect over 1,000 attendees in person or online on each day of the Conference.

The 2027 Conference will feature two days of interactive workshops either in person or online that engage deeply with contemporary challenges, foster learning, skill-building, creative engagement, networking, or aim to inspire collaborative strategies that reflect the evolving landscape of the Jewish left. We invite proposals from progressive organizations, Jewish community organizations, scholars, and creative artists.

For 2027, we particularly encourage proposals that use the arts – music, visual arts, storytelling, theatre, poetry, and other creative practices – as tools for dialogue, community-building, and imagining more just futures. We also welcome proposals resonant with Purim, historically or in the present. Purim begins Monday evening, March 22.

The application deadline is December 7th at 11:59 EST. We will begin responding to tabling applications in early January.
