Submission guidelines for Inside Community

Stills

  • color or black and white images
  • high quality jpgs at 3000 pixels (for longest side)

Video

  • codec h.264
  • size 1920 pixels wide, horizontals only
  • length, 15-20 seconds
  • Maximum of ten submissions per student

Rules

  • Rename images to include your name and image number.  ie: your_name_01.jpg
  • Sequences must be named in a manner to specify the sequence. ie: your_name_s01-1.jpg, your_name_s01-2.jpg, etc.
  • Include copyright on all images i.e. ©your_name_2105
  • Device timestamp must be accurate or date of creation must be in caption.
  • Include caption on each submission – Journalism students must caption to industry standards; art students must title and caption as necessary.
  • Include the following keywords: ‘insidecommunity’, ‘art’ or ‘journalism’ – as appropriate, the name of your community, eg: bostonharbor, buhockey, boiseid, etc.
  • Submissions must be from the 2015/16 academic year.

By submitting your work it is understood that project, Inside Community, at Boston University has the right to use and exhibit any of your images and videos, including, but not limited, to publicity for the exhibition.
